This exciting project has injected £8 million into the 1,450m2 venue to boast a show-stopping interior design with high-end finishings. Partnering with Chapman Taylor’s Castlefield office and specialist contractor ISG at MediaCityUK, brought together an award-winning practice of architects and renowned construction innovation to Napoleons Manchester.

Together, they delivered a modern twist on the classic casino environment, fit with luxury detailing throughout. Commissioning the partnership elevated Napoleons Manchester to become a casino that boasts a luxurious private dining room, stunning restaurant, and striking cocktail bar overlooking the gaming area.

The A&S Leisure Group are thrilled to announce a new Napoleons Casino & Restaurant will open at 57 Portland Street in September 2020. Situated next door to the brand-new Hotel Brooklyn, sister venue to Hotel Gotham, Napoleons Casino & Restaurant will incorporate a casino, restaurant and bar, creating 120 jobs in the city.

New four star hotel and casino could be built at Portland Street office block The 13-story landmark tower would see a Park Plaza hotel added on to the side - while also getting a major facelift itself. The basement of the Brooklyn will contain a casino. This will be a separate demise to the hotel with its own individual entrance and egress points. Developed by CDP alongside Hotel Brooklyn on Portland Street in Manchester City centre, MCWY completed construction of Napoleons Casino in January 2020. A brand new £8m casino, restaurant and cocktail bar is now open in Manchester City Centre. Napoleons Casino and Restaurant debuted on Portland Street next door to the recently launched Hotel Brooklyn, itself a sister venue to the popular Hotel Gotham on King Street across town in late September. Napoleons Manchester will also host Mahjong and Poker. Napoleons Casino & Restaurant is open now at 57 Portland Street. Current opening hours are 5am until 10pm, with last orders in the restaurant at 8.30pm due to current government restrictions in place. Face coverings must be worn unless eating or drinking.

Being a local supplier ourselves, it has been an honour to collaborate and work as part of a truly enigmatic team, led by ISG, to contribute to this stunning finished article.”

The project has been years in the making and marks a return to Manchester for Dave Allen, A&S Leisure Chairman who, as a younger man, regularly performed in the city with his band at the Ritz Ballroom on Oxford St before moving on to the business of nightclubs and casinos, years later.
